Current traffic information:
Closure of the "Salzkammergut Bahn" between the stations "Steeg-Gosau" and "Stainach Irdnung"
Attention rail passengers: Construction work on the "Salzkammergut Bahn" until 22 May 2026. Ferry traffic on Lake Hallstatt suspended during the construction work. The east bank hiking trail and the east bank cycle path between Obertraun, Hallstatt train station and Bad Goisern are not affected by the closure. The Hallstatt Sea Shipping Company runs its tour boats according to schedule.
